The role of female characters in most modern films has changed, and look no further than in action/ adventure films.

Personally I think that you could make great references to Chinese cinema (e.g. House of Flying Daggers, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon).

And also to Angelina Jolie, who has had a profound influence on the female action character, no longer the antagonist damsel but saving the male and becoming the protagonist. Not only does she pull it off with aplomb but also maintaining her cool appearance.

Also look at Geena Davis in The Long Kiss Goodnight and Linda Hamilton in The Terminator.

At university I looked at the female characters in Being John Malkovich, and strong women can make the difference to an archetyple film.

My progressed moon hit 26 degrees today, since it is in Aries - this is a critical degree. I have noted past major life events do coincide with my progressed moon being at a critical degree. In fact, this area of astrology was a selling point for me as I had to go back in time to recognize these correlations, past events that had no bearing in my knowledge of astrology since the suggestion wasn’t present through my expectations.
