I just wont have an aggressive dog although i believe firmly he was playing way too hard but even with him being hurt i see he didnt stop. please help. im between a rock and a hard place. thank you so much first of all, i hope your cat has been seen by a vet. blood and an animal defecating on itself are not signs of "rough play" it’s a sign of an attack and a very, very scared and possibly hurt kitten. no matter what you do, please do not put the dog to sleep. find foster care if you decide to get rid of him. you could also contact an animal behaviorist. If you do plan on keeping the pitbull, he should be in a crate when you leave. You should also supervise him around the cats at all times. In fact, no dogs should ever be left alone with a little kitty. Even if it seems like they get along, bully breeds have a high prey drive and things like this are not uncommon. If there have been absolutely no other problems in the previous months, it is hard to believe the dogs would have aggression toward the cats. Honestly, I’d go with your instinct. I too believe they were probably playing too hard and it just got out of hand. However, if it happens again, or more than once, I would either keep them separated all the time, or have it so there is no contact between them. (Like, my aunt keeps the cats in the basement which is also a kids playroom and they regularly go down to feed, water, play with, etc. them.) If you think it is a real problem, I do suggest having the poor dog put down. But I would only do that in a very very extreme situation. It sounds as if her was playing although I would have to agree with you that if he wasn’t aggressive he would have stopped once he was scratched or began to bleed in anyway from the incident. I don’t think its fair for your cats to live in that type of environment if you chose to keep the puppy. If he is young doing this it may only get worse. You can try taking him to your local SPCA they will run "test" with other animals and scenarios to determine if he is an aggressive animal. This may allow you the ability of making a more informed decision. That is a toughy. You definitely need to keep your staffy away from small animals from now on! I hope your cat is going to be ok. Always supervise him when he’s with other animals, even your other large dog. Terriers have very strong prey drive. You found that out the hard way. He only acted out of instinct, nothing else. Even with dogs who get along well for years and are buddies, all it takes is an instant, an "oops" that was my Buddy, not a bunny! Some breeds are more in tune with their wilder side than others, AmStaffs are a breed with predation issues, so are Border Collies (my breed). Your options are to not have cats (or small dogs, or bunnies, etc) or to manage it so that the dog is never left alone with them, and they always have an escape route (and don’t rely on flimsy gates, you need solid ones that the dog can’t simply hop over or knock down. This doesn’t say to me that the dog is unreliable around people, but I wouldn’t take this dog to the dog park! Toxic Skies

I am 4′11 and weigh 96 pounds. I probably eat as much as you do or maybe even more!! The only thing I do is clean a lot. I am always cleaning my house and I never sit down after I eat. I usually walk it off. That way, the food is metabolized a little faster. Losing weight is a combination of eating right, which you obviously are, and being active. I’m getting way ahead of myself I’ll go back to when it all started to go wrong this is my story. We were married for 16 years and we have a son together. When he started having to many meetings and going to,to many happy hours after work is when I became aware that something is really wrong. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why he was doing this I kept myself looking good at all times I was cute with long blond hair and had a nice body. We always got along so good we hardly ever got into arguments if we did we always made up before going to bed. I kept our home very clean I made home cooked meals every night it was always waiting for him when he walked through the door. I washed and ironed all his clothes no dry cleaning I did it all myself. I went to all his company outings and Christmas parties not to mention the countless dinners parties in his bosses homes. Our sex life was only getting better we had sex where ever and when ever he wanted we hit every room in the house including the 2 bathrooms we even laid out blankets on the floors in front of the fire place. We hit quite a few chairs and steps we even tried under our Christmas tree but it didn’t work out so we moved to the bedroom. I loved him so much and showed him in every way I knew possible. I was so proud of him and to walk in any function with him by my side I felt very fortunate to have him as my husband. Afterwards just knowing that we were going to make love when we got home made it that much more exciting for me. The more I showed my love the more distance he became towards me until one day I had enough and ask what was wrong with him. Again he said nothing is wrong with me I said oh no not this time your not getting away with that any longer I want to know what is wrong with you. Well he told me alright he said he had been thinking about moving out for quite some time now to get his own apartment. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing he went on to say that I was selfish and everything was always about me,me,me that’s his words not mine. He grew more and more resentful of my presents when I walked into a room he would get up and go to another room. I felt so betrayed what did I do for him to treat me this way. Our sex life went from every night to once a week if I was lucky. After 8 months of this he moved out needless to say I was devastated and so broken hearted so was our 16 year old son. Of course he always denied that he was seeing someone else and I tried to found out if he was indeed cheating if he was he was very good at hiding it. After he had been gone for 2 months he started calling me more and more we even started having sex again which I was very happy about that. After 16 years of sex when ever I wanted and it was now gone that was very hard to deal with but the hardiest was not having him in my bed at night making me feel safe from the big bad world that was out there. After 2 1/2 years of dating and spending nights at his apartment we got to know each other all over again he fell in love with me all over again. When he moved back home 2 days later I was still putting away some of tis things when I came across a card my heart just dropped I just knew if I opened it what I would found. Sure enough it was from a co-worker he had been seeing. It started 8 months prior to leaving me and all through the time we were separated. My whole body just went numb I ran in the bathroom locked the door and fell to the floor I put my hands over my ears I started humming and rocking back and forth. To make a much longer story short it’s now 11 years later and although it’s been very hard for me I am so glad I did not act on my emotions the day I found out about his affair because I wanted to left him. I think that’s the problem to many women and men act out before really thinking it all the way through. My thought was why should I let another woman walk in and take my husband from me I still loved him regardless of what he has done. I know I couldn’t stand it if I saw him with another wife or me with another husband so I chose to work it out with my husband. When he moved back home he was so in love with me and he let me get all my anger out and he put up with a lot of very nasty remarks from me. I can’t say that others are jealous of me because I chose to stay and work it out with my husband all I can say is I’m sure glad that I did because we have a very good marriage. We talk and we do things together and he wears his wedding ring now as before he never would.
