Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
|
IMDB rating: 7.20 Plot: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the first film in the Harry Potter series based off the novels by J.K. Rowling. It is the tale of Harry Potter, an ordinary 11-year-old boy serving as a sort of slave for his aunt and uncle who learns that he is actually a wizard and has been invited to attend the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry is snatched away from his mundane existence by Hagrid, the grounds keeper for Hogwarts, and quickly thrown into a world completely foreign to both him and the viewer. Famous for an incident that happened at his birth, Harry makes friends easily at his new school. He soon finds, however, that the wizarding world is far more dangerous for him than he would have imagined, and he quickly learns that not all wizards are ones to be trusted. |

Do you know any other Harry Potter contradictions?
In Deathly Hallows, it is revealed that James died without being able to reach his wand, Voldemort kills him straightaway
However, in Sorcerer’s Stone, Voldemort says that James put up a courageous fight.
isn’t that contradictory, do you know any other HP contradictions
In the Prisoner of Azkaban, Lupin tells Harry that he knew it was him from the second he [Harry] entered the compartment and he [Lupin] saw his eyes. However, when Harry, Ron, and Hermione first entered the compartment and up until the dementor attack, Lupin was pretending to be asleep, and therefore had his eyes closed.

Well, James would certainly be courageous to try to fight Voldemort with his wand out of reach, wouldn’t he?
I know that there are several times that wizards and witches are hit with Disarming spells, but the alliance of their wand does not seem to change… that apparently was only something that was significant for Deathly Hallows

There are loads, actually.
J.K Rowling is probably more concentrated on getting through the book. I mean, she has other things to worry about, than small, minor mistakes.
That’s for the editor. So really, it’s not her fault.
